hi

Anyone know of any good deals around at the moment (and any advice on whether to go for dual screens or one that sits in the middle)?

Thanks

Janet

    Hi

I have just come back from York where I bought a Venturer prtable dvd player with Screen PVS 122B for £49.99 from Toys-R-Us. In its own box it comes with a Remote control and 2 hour rechargeable battery and a AC Adaptor. It came on offer with a free in car kit which includes the holding case for between the front 2 seats, in-car charger, headphones, leads and scart adaptor.

It seams to play most discs DVDs, VCDs, CDs, MP3, CD-R/RW & JPG-CD.

It is only a 3.5 in screen but is very clear and sharp. I had it placed behind the front seats and even my children at the back of the people carrier were very happy with it on our 6 hour drive home.

Here is a link to it online but it does say out of stock at the moment. They did have quite a lot in Toy-R-Us in York on Thursday so you might still get them in the stores:

I am very happy that I bought it and thought it was a very good price.

Asda have a twin set 7" for £169. Don't know the specs but they will accept vouchers upto 10% of your shopping which brings it down to about £152.

My local has them off and on, so, may be worth a call first to check the price, stock and wether they will take vouchers, (some stores are a bit funny).

Old Faithful we roam the range together,
Old Faithful in any kind of weather,
When the round up days are over,
And the Boulevard’s white with clover,
For you old faithful pal of mine.

Giddy up old fella cos the moon is mellow and bright,
There’s a coyote crying at the moon above,
Carry me back to the one I love,
And you old faithful pal of mine.

If you have freeview tv then 'Price Drop tv' (its either channel 23 or 24) are doing the ones with the 2, 7" screens at 17.24hrs today. It's worth a look-in to see what they are offering. If you don't have freeview then you can still watch the price drop here
