No reason why you need to NOT wear an `all in one' suit - much much easier to swim in - unless THATS not really why you're there .............. !!0

well thankfully i'm not there at all ... :rotfl:
surely edwardian ladies must have found their full-body swimsuits challenging to swim in? I imagine their suits must have billowed around them as they swam, catching vast swathes of water .... not so aquadynamic? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:Norn Iron Club Member.295; Norn Iron Weight Loss Club Member.10 -
I think Templemore Avenue swimming pool has a Ladies hour if that's any good. Think it's 8 -9pm or 9 - 10pm on a Monday evening but give them a call first. Not the best of changing/showers or pool but a pool non the less!0

So they've banned ladies night now? How ridiculous! They should bring it back for the reasons everyone has alluded to.
I used to use Coleraine's pool and it was annoying for me (being a man) and I'm sure, equally annoying for the women!
You'd get women who'd come in for a leisurely swim and me wanting to do several super fast lengths. The ripples kinda sent them off balance a bit lol.
The real problem though was for the women who wanted to relax and chill out in the sauna, steam and jacuzzi area. It was full of horrible old men, the type who'd intimidate other men, let alone women. It wasn't the environment for a self conscious lady to relax and chill out in. They had a ladies night on a Tuesday but it's hardly fair that a woman should only feel comfortable going to the pool one night in the week, predetermined by the powers that be. Where's the equality in that?0
