11yo dd has to wear ear plugs for swimming, showering and bathing and it's costing me a fortune. i used to get some from a friend who's son worked at the airport but he's moved on now - anyone know where I can get a bulkish supply - I would be willing to buy 100 at a time

you would be best off having a custom made pair of swim plugs from your local NHS Audiology department, they should be free if your son has grommets, perforated ear drums, history of ear surgery or history of ear infections.
you may need a referral letter from your GP or ENT consultant but they should be free of charge0 -

..... now why didn't the audiologist or dr tell us this. My daughter, now 11, has had glue ear for most of her life and is on her fourth set of grommets. Once the grommets fall out she gets infections every 6 weeks or so and suffers moderate hearing loss. I will see the doctor next week
Thanks everyone else for the links - I will order some of the soft ones in the meantime

sorry mis-read you original post and did not realise what 'dd' meant, hope I did not cause offence
Cost to NHS is @ £25 per mould so that probably why they did not tell you0 -
