I am so proud of myself today.

I started my new (2nd) job this morning hoovering a local soft play centre before it opens. Kids are still in bed while I'm there, I earn extra money and they now get in for free whenever we like so will be going there lots!! When I got back we had a free day out at a local garden centre (although I did treat them to an ice cream each!) and I've just done a ppi reclaim for my RBS card - thought it would be about £1000 but its actually amost £3000 and will practically clear my balance!!

About to round off the day with my daily clicks! I love this sight! :j
  • sold a few items on amazon (woohoo!)
choped up fruit and froze it for use later on
attempted starting to meal plan (got the pen and paper out...)
    spent nothing (yet!)

I got £20 high street vouchers off E-on so I've just been to Wilkos and bought lots of loo roll/washing powder/shampoo etc all on special offer and now I'm off to spend the other £10 in Iceland on food so spent no cash and will have plenty of supplies to keep us going!

    Hi everyone,
    Today I have:
    • dried three loads of washing on the line - just need to air them on the radiators for an hour or two
    • Made a huge lasagne - should get three meals out of it (although knowing my pack, I'll be lucky if it lasts for the rest of the day!)
    • Made a huge pot of veg soup - just had some now, lovely, should last a couple of days at least
    • spent ages [strike]playing with [/strike]updating my spreadsheets - spending diary, price index, pot accounts and savings all back on track
    Yet to do today:
    • make a shepherd's pie to freeze No - will do in the morning
    • make banana bread (to avoid buying sweets/chocolate - have all the ingredients) Ditto
    • do out work plan for the next month - aiming for start of seasonal project by mid-March, lots of prep work to organise first. Ditto
    • shampoo upstairs carpets (that is dfw, surely, in that the carpets will last longer:confused: ) Ditto
Hope everyone's having a lovely weekend!

Edit: houseful of people till now - everything has been deferred until morning!
I'm an adult and I can eat whatever I want whenever I want and I wish someone would take this power from me.

I always say dont blow dry my hair and they just 'roughly' dry it so I dont catch a cold.

I look like a mess when I leave (and feel a bit of a cheap !!!!) but as soon as Im home I blow dry it and strighten it and it looks fab!

    Very good money saving tip!!
