I went to do it a few years ago and they accepted copies of my invoices as proof of income. They were however, one of those extortionate car finance companies and I am glad to say I thought better of it and declined ( we were sent a loan offer in the post with an APR of 19.9%, which is low by their standards, in the showroom they assumed our offer was 29.9%...amazingly, when they found out, the price of the cars we had looked at all went up! :rotfl: ).

I bought a cheapy car for cash, lasted nearly 3 years and sold it for a third of what I paid for it, much better idea ;)
