Livingston: Free Quorn meals from Almondvale Center

For the past 2 days there has been a cart set out near the cookie store in the McArthur Glen Shopping Mall handing out little baggies of free Quorn cottage pies.

Each bag contains 2 frozen cottage pies, and you can ask for more (I saw a guy walking around with 4 bags, aka 8 meals).

They were there Friday and Thursday, if you are going, drop by and they might be there again (don't know for definite, but when I went by yesterday after college they looked like they had alot of stock left).

I'm not a veggie but I think they taste great. I used to buy normal mince cottage pies but find I prefer these.

If it was put in front of you and no-one told you it was quorn you might not know the difference.

Unfortunately I stay to far away otherwise I'd be down there like a shot!!!

I'v seen the quorn van outside the almondvale centre the past couple of times( in the past 6 month) I've been up to see my mum and dad.
Never had the nerve to go over to it though.

They were also handing out these freebies at the Metrocentre today (outside House of Fraser). I bagged one for my lunch one day next week, there's also a 50p off voucher in the pack. There were some people joining the queue, dropping them off with a friend then going back for another.

I love Quorn stuff. The Cottage pies are lovely and their beef style pieces are great in a stew. Really low in fat too.

    Yum.

  • We had this @ Merry Hill, shopping centre, Dudley, West Midlands about 3 weeks ago. Managed to get 5 of them:p

Don'f forget that each comes with 50p coupon which scans with anything @ Tesco;)
  • don't know if this will help anyone, but there is a list of their roadshows here..
