Yes you are with me now. You may have to telephone a credit company up and request a high £10,800 approx credit limit, you may get it, there will be a transfer fee, but you could potentially save heeps in interest if you move it around just before the intro offer ends.

I would only try with the £10,800 first, and do not keep applying if you are knocked back more than twice, it can affect your credit rating.

I have been looking round the site and i understand that my husband is limited to what deals he can take out as he isnt transfering his debt from one credit card to another and i presume he will have to request a cheque to be paid into his bank account to pay off the loan/s.

I have been looking at a Virgin Credit Card which has a 0% on balance transfers for 15 months but it says nothing of paying the amount directly into a bank account.

We want to shift the largest debt first as the smaller one is offset against his tax at the end of the financial year.

Can anyone let me know if i am thinking along the right lines?

Also i am struggling to find what the minimum repayments will be.

I am not familiar with Virgin credit cards etc, but I do know that MBNA are able to do a cash transfer into bank account and they are currently offering 0% until feb 2009.
