March 2009

OMG.

I've just taken on some permanent extra hours at work.

I've worked out that if I keep to my current budget and pay all the extra off my debts, I could be debt free in March 2009.

That's just over a year.

OMG.

Now print that date on a big sheet of paper and fix it somewhere where it will act as a motivator.

You can add pictures of things that you will be able to do when you are debt free.........travel a bit, buy new clothes, move house, whatever is important to you.

Good luck, next year will be fab!

Just think how you'll be feeling this time next year when you'll be almost there. Something to aim for.

  • Fantastic for you:T you really do need to have a DFD date to aim for my date is slightly optimistic:p but it spurs me on to throw everything I can at the debt, anywhere near that date would be amazing, hope it all works out for you:D

  • And with all those extra hours you want have the time or the energy to spend any money, which might even bring your debt free date forward:T

    Good luck

PS One thing that I do when I am looking forward to something is I work out how long it is and then think what I was doing in that time period..... so think of what you were doing this time last year and then you will realise how quickly time goes and makes that date even closer!!
