Haven't tried this code myself, but supposedly "THOMAS" will get you a 10% discount until 31st March 2008.

You can always go with southern, it takes an extra 10 minutes (tops), but it costs less £6, if I remember correctly.

Hi was trying all codes for gatwick express with no luck,used the style code as posted and got two first class tickets for £36.75 instead of £49.00.
cost of regular fare £33.80 so for £2.95 opted for the first class, will be travelling to gatwick on a sunday morning after having night out in london on the saturday , anticipating a hang over, thought I;d treat us as the difference was so little.

Also, train tickets cost much more from Central London than from outer, so if your ticket to get to victoria in the first place is, say a travelcard, or an Underground from zone 6, or a Thameslink (or even any train ticket which says 'London Terminals' is blaggable) ticket, you could use it to get to East Croydon, when the southern train will be much cheaper...
I'm all for getting something for free and that, but it seems odd to spend time trying to get a code to pre-book a gatwick express ticket, when there are cheaper trains that get you there just as comfortably. No checking in at Victoria, that way, tho...
