Hi i am in need of some help and advice.
I have recently stopped signing on for JSA and become self employed freelance artist.
I have applied for working tax credit and because i am renting i dont want my housing benefits to end because i am not earning any money from my art at the moment. ( all on materials/expenses).
How can i forecast my earnings properly?
I havnt sold anything yet
I wont know my income from one week to the next, or if i make a profit in the first year?
Live the dream (hopefully not in extreme poverty)

Just give a rough estimate. The HB should ask for a statement of accounts every 3 months and re-assess as required.
For the first year in business, a trading loss isn't unexpected.0 -
Hi thanks for your post. Im at the form filling in stage now for both WTC and HB.
The HB was stopped because of my recent change of circ (come off JSA) and i have a lovely pink slip from the council while the WTC forms are sorted out. Therefore i have to be a bit frugal and be nice to my landlord.
PS: all the forms are... i'll keep updates of my progress.0
