I know this question has been covered before... however I can't find any threads and I'm unsure what to do.
Bought Edwards of Conwy pork sausages earlier this week with intention of eating them the following day. However I forgot and the use by date was yesterday. Now I know that the food doesn't go off at the stroke of midnight. It's just that I'm pregnant and it's not just myself to think about anymore. Normally I would just have gone for it and cooked it.
Will it still be ok as long as it has been cooked properly?

For myself I would go ahead, cook & eat them
However, I am a bloke and thus never been pregnant, in your case, if in doubt chuck them out or feed to the dog [or DH :rotfl: ]Eight out of ten owners who expressed a preference said their cats preferred other peoples gardens0 -
As you are pregnant I doubt anyone would be willing to say 'yes it's safe' as there are other factors such as how they have been kept before and after purchase which can affect quality aswell as just time.
What I would say is, if they did smell ok (I would leave them out of the fridge a good 10 minutes to see) I would cook them, if they smell ok after cooking I would taste them, if they taste fine I would enjoy them. One day I might be more organised...........

Do they stink? If not go for it and make sure they are cooked through.
this is my personal opinion and not medical advice blah de blah, but i also have eaten raw fish sushi, soft cheese, peanuts etc etc when pregnant and have 3 kids to show for it. None of them has allergies;0Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:

I'd consider how far pregnant you are. If you're in the first 3 months, I'd be inclined to be more careful than if you're nearly ready to give birth.
However, if they look and smell fine, they probably are!
