Ok so we were told on the Tuesday we would know by the that Friday if it was succesful. That was two weeks ago and we still dont know. I have phoned them twice now and had no reply. So I rang the people who keep sending us letters re the application and they said they dont know as its the mortgage advisor that has the decisons that were made. So how do I find out if we have been accepted or not if she isn't answering her phone
??

oh dear that doesn't sound very good. Can you visit their office?0

Have you tried ringing the mortgage provider?0

Due to health problems and being disabled. I dont want to visit the office to find out she isn't there as that would be a wasted journey and in turn will effect my health. I have thought about ringing the branch and asking what days she is in or if she is on holiday but I dont have a branch number only her number for that branch.Does that make sense?0

Yes they say they don't know as its the advisor who has the answers. Its the provider who is sending out the letters.

Sorry I misunderstood, thought you mean't an independant advisor. Don't know what to suggest but hopefully someone on here will have a good suggestion.0

As a broker I always keep people well informed. My best guess is she is avoiding you as she cant help. Some people find it difficult to give bad news.
Try elsewhere, but be careful, many so called advisers just 'farm - out' cases to what are known as packagers. Packagers only have thier own financial interests at heart.
I may have the wrong end of the stick, so apologies in advance, but I think it worth mentioning many lenders will not take disability benefits into account.
On the other hand others are much more grown - up about such benefits.
Good luck.0
