how to size your dough for breadcakes /baps

hi all jst made some dough in my breadmaker but ive only gotten about 7 breadcakes from it !! i think there gonna be too big once doubled in size (proofing) so to a 500g flour mix how many baps/breadcakes should i have ?

ps and if they are too big after proofing can i resize them ? or is it too late after second rising

I weigh my dough. I make rolls 50g of dough.

I would probably bake the rolls and cut them in half.

I make 8 rolls from 500g flour. That's an easy number to divide the dough into and they sit neatly onto a baking sheet.
