'Extra-care' insurance on catalogue

I have been paying an 'extra-care' insurance on my Littlewood's catalogue for years now. The amount it adds onto my balance is more than the interest they put onto my Mothercard storecard! I've never used it, I'm not even sure what it covers. Do you think I should cancel it?
