I want a surfboard...

Hi all,
Could do with some help please.. I'm looking at getting a surfboard though know nothing about the brands of boards.. I'm well up together with the clothing etcetc just nothing about the boards themselves. I know by purchasing a 'quiksilver' surfboard, I won't be getting the same quality as buying a brand who specialise in boards (not clothing!)
I'm talking about getting a tefal frying pan, in comparison to a cheap manufacturer who has managed to get jamie olivers name on the pan so they end up costing the same!
I'm after a shortboard (i've checked against all the measurements etc I need) so just now looking at what's a good one to get.. Cant' find much help on net!

Check out Ebay- theres quite a few on there at the moment- I had mine custom made about 10 yrs ago- still going strong.0
