people do recycle breast pumps our freecycle has them quite often and they get snapped up
Don’t ask what the world needs. Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it.
Because what the world needs is people who have come alive.

I do hope only people who need these tried to get one. Yes its a freebie, but it was sponsored by a parenting magazine and was intended for pregnant mums or those breastfeeding.

Anyone who got one to sell on is depriving a mum of a vital piece of equipment.

I breast fed both of mine for over a year. I invested in a breast pump, and when my first was about 4 months olf DH and I went out for 2 hrs, and left babba with my mum and dad, and a bottle of breast milk.
We rang after half an hour, and were told, "PLease come back. She won't take the milk"

She refused the rubber teat and just wanted mum! She would never take anything from a bottle, or take a dummy!

I didn't even try with my second. Mind, he was a monkey; fed every two hours day and night till he was 8 mths old!!!! ARGHHH!! I was 36 too, so no spring chicken, and a toddkler to look after. In the evenings he'd feed constantly from about 6pm till 10pm, just going from one breast to the other, cos my milk supplies were low.

My breast pump was like brand new lmao

Must advocate breast feeding tho. neither of mine (Now 13 and 9,) have ever had antibiotics and they rarely even get colds. I think my daughter has had about 4 colds in her life and my son one or two more, and they never last for more than a day.

    Breast is definitely best.
