got my letter today...with 75p coupon and a fridge magnet (DD will be pleased, she loves that knitted monkey)

I just went to the "cuppa-club" website to apply for my free coasters, but it wanted my mother's maiden name.

I'm not really happy to give that out (and if I make a name up, I'll only forget it) so if anyone wants my personal code to join the cuppa club just pm me.

My answer to this "security" question is -

    nopadlockonwebsitenonamebreachofsecurity

And even then,I would not reveal my personal security details unless there is any financial matter involved and I have no other alternative.

Why should I give these details to some commerical organisation when the government departments keep on losing our personal records?
  • how do you join the club? or am I totally missing something infront of me? Thanks

yeah, if they want those details they can go and hunt around the sorting office for the missing discs themselves!

they dont ask for address for coasters so whom ever got your code just sent for them for you :rotfl: .. they have your address already on file . which is why each login is unique to whom it is addressed, so no need to fill in your details again
anyone not happy with providing mothers maiden name choose a easy to remember name like fave colour or pets name

That monkey is so cute..... They have stole it from ITV Digital, if anyone remembers but they went bust a couple of years ago!

I called PG tips careline and they explained to me that the cuppa club has just been launched and only some people who for whatever reason were already on the database have been contacted. They are going to expand it but not until the new website has had all its glitches ironed out, so watch that space!
