I've only got a communal garden for our 6 flats in the block, but i got one for the kids around here for the summer.. my dd and the others will love it
Has anyone seen the Palmolive things that were given free with certain items on boots in poundland? Im sure i spotted them today, but i could be wrong as i was in a hurry out as it was getting packed!
sorry off topic but feeling sorry for myself now the weathers getting warmer!
hope you all get your castles though!'They only had one cow!'0 -
hello all
i'm new to this bootsing malarky, although i do try to take advantage of extra points offers etc - but to be honest i get so confused i usually end up handing one over and leaving it at that. after a brilliant day on the clearance stand on friday, i have looked through allmy vouchers and think i could maybe get an ok deal with them. i have:
pink £5 no7/r&m/jk voucher
double points voucher (has been used once so must use it wisely this time!)
500 points when i buy my 5 day detox which i've been wanting to try for ages
100pts Mark Hill haircare (which I use all the time)
free R&M lip or eye compact worth £12 when i buy two products (will this work with pink £5 voucher?)
250 points on £25 spend
save £2 on FCUK (but apparently can't use that one as the product is already on offer!! the cheek!!)
and a £10 gift card.
any ideas on the best order to use them in?
any advice at all would be briliant:)
Thank you xxxxWins since June: iPod shuffle 1gb, Samsung g800, cinema ticket, lush retro giftbox, 2x mp3 downloads, a big box of food (???)0 -
Does anyone know when the £5 off vouchers and the No7 GWP finish?
Thanks.0 -
I'll start doesn't work on P&P gift set or tan wipes
old by supervisor it doesn't work with suncare stuff either but haven't tried this.
Definitely works with the mens new skincare.
Anyone else think this is a good idea?
Pink voucher works on No 7 suncare
It will work with the suncare. I bought thisLast week. Cost £10.50 bought some chocolate with it, as I get 10% discount (otherwise it would have only cost £9.45) That brought the purchase over £10, so I got another pink voucher.
Dont believe any SA that says it wont work on sun lotion.:p It has to be the No 7 though (not soltan). It's pricy, but I have skin cancer, so only use factor 50, so this was well worth getting for me.~ What goes around comes around ~0 -
Didn't work......the P&Ps above are not classed as skincare....which is what the acm voucher demanded:mad:
PS...I tried with two lip/eye screens thinking that might work...but no luck
On the ACM today I was offered 300 points if I bought two or more P&P products...but couldn't think of a way to use this and benefit much. But coming home I wonder whether the following would have worked

I wish I had that voucher, mine was 300 pts wyb 3 products from the P + p skincare range. Boots are getting too greedy.

Ive never had a garden til i moved here, though i wouldnt really call it a proper garden as its shared and is on a hill  with a massive oak tree in the middle! lol no1 uses it, shame really. But if i manage to get it which i very much doubt i will i shall stick it in there anyway as there is no where else for it around here lol. just thought it'd be a shame not to get it.
Back to bootsSorry if this sounds rather silly, but i have a £10 voucher for boots from pigsback. Can you use these at the Clinique counters in the larger stores? Bet you're all giggling at me now.. :rotfl:
Gotta love a bargain :j0 -

Just checked my ACM voucher ....it says
300 points when you buy any 2 products from the No 7 Protect & Perfect skin care range. Visit the No 7 counter for details. Valid until 2nd March 2008
So I printed out a few and bought them home just in case I had a brainwave and also just in case the ACM didn't offer them to me again:rotfl:0 -
ok...would this count as skincare in the P&P range
Cos if it does.....then
2 x No7 Protect & Perfect Cooling Aftersun Treatment @ £8.00 each
High Lights @ £10.25
GWP
Total value shop would be £26.25
Pay with
75 points wys £10 ACM voucher
300 ACM P&P voucher
250 points No 7 (from previous GWP) (praying it won't beep)
£5.00 pink voucher
£10.25 mag high lights voucher
Total to pay £11.00
Points added (hopefully) £6.25
New £5 pink voucher to take away
Actual cost (Boots boosting maths only;) is either £4.75 or if you count the new pink voucher value then Boots are paying you 25p to take this lot away)
But it all hinges on Boots definition of SKIN CARE RANGE0 -

Cos if it does.....then
2But it all hinges on Boots definition of SKIN CARE RANGE
It should do as it says its to rehydrate the skin, and that has to be skincare.
But as you say, it depends who defines itBut if your definition, is different than theirs, they should prove what their definition of skincare is. I bet CS would define it as skincare:T
It's like the £1 off £4 spent on healthcare. I have never managed to pass one of these yet.
ALWAYS told, it's not healthcare, even when bought at the pharmacy.~ What goes around comes around ~0
