I knew the vouchers definately were fine because i asked the lady in meadowhall which ones i could use together and she was very happy to save me my £5 off and give me a highlighter and free gift.
I met another lady at the till who had a highlights voucher and £5 voucher but when i told her about the trouble i was having she decided not to bother.

naughty sales assistants If theyre not going to take your vouchers, then fine, but why do they create a scene about it ??

I've only ever complained to Boots CS once, and it wasn't about one particular SA, but a few. I emailed them about the previous £5 off offer, when the staff were probably at the end of their tether with those Time Delay/Roc/Olay offers and being asked questions about them. My main grouch wasn't because they couldn't help, it was mainly about how they were forever being heard to say "not in conjunction with this ...blah blah blah" etc. And they weren't too quiet about it either. Some were just plain ignorant. I didn't name names or stores, I guessed CS could figure that out for themselves by following my Boot's spending habits.

But if what had happened to you had have happened to me, I'd definitely be mailing or ringing like a shot.

As the previous poster has said, these offers are to take advantages of Boots' products, not to be spoken to as if you're some kind of 'scrounger'.

Get mailing, or ringing - please?

There are no vouchers in the P&P giftset. I tried to use a points voucher but was told they are not valid to use with giftsets, you could try it though but not with a No7 SA
The pink voucher should work fine.

Grrrr :mad: ! It's now been cancelled so I've payed £2.95 delivery for the one remaining £5 item!

I picked that up to buy a couple of weeks ago, then changed my mind and bought the Mobile Foam set instead

My thinking is that if anything is going to be reduced after Valentines Day, it would be those Steamy Shower sets, because let's face it, they're hardly something that someone would purchase for Mother's Day are they? lol

Hi , plenty of P+P gift sets in crown point, birstall batley & leeds city branches today.
My mum wanted the P+P set, illuminator & GWP, illuminator voucher beeped though & male SA said it was cos she couldnt have that & GWP so I asked him to cancel that sale & try again without the GWP & again till beeped so I asked him to overeride the illuminator as she should get both really. He couldnt so we had to go to the NO7 counter.
The No 7 SA said the illuminator voucher wouldnt be accepted as the P+P set was on "offer" & the voucher couldnt be used with any other offer.
I politley said that it wasnt an "offer" & I had got one yestereday & the SA simply put the illumator through as £0.
She eventually did this but because my mum is over 60 & in the health club she got the illumator, GWP & P+P set for £18 minus usual vouchers. :j
I have a very happy mum now.

I know isnt it infuriating!!!!
I would give CS a ring and say you wanted that particular item for your ds birthday and hopefully they will refund you the delivery!

LOL. thats a a funny thought hehe!
I absolutely LOVE soap & glory, ive probs got a lifetime supply of the stuff, but i keep buying more.. oh is getting a bit annoyed as its taking over our bathroom and bedroom lol!
Lets hope its reduced! Im gonna have a look in my local tomorrow, see if its gone down. I will let you know. Where bouts are you?
