How do I encourage my OH to get cycling?

Hello
Just been through this with my other half, who has now become such a keen cyclist that he's grumpy when the weather stops him going in, I never thought I'd see the day!
Anyway, I've been cycling for a while and tried to get him interested as it's such a nice way to get to work, but he wasn't sure, and was really worried about the traffic. But he decided to get a cheap bike just for going out on fun rides at weekends, about £40 from ebay as I recall. He started to get into cycling, got a bit more confident on the roads and was feeling pleased with himself for doing the extra exercise so he decided to try giving the commute a go. This is the point when he saw the light: cycling takes less than half the time on the bus so he can stay in bed for an extra 20 minutes :rotfl: When you add in the fact that it's way cheaper than any other way to travel, and you arrive at work all smug that you've done a bit of exercise then no more persuasion was required
So I'd say try and track down a cheapo or free bike, and just get him out on some fun easy rides when the roads are quiet, and take it from there..0
