Interest on repayments

Hi all
Just want your views.
I overpaid my SA 06/07 bill (yes, I know, I know) and last week I requested a repayment on the HMRC website. I got a confirmation that it would be repaid in five wordking days and got a reference number.
Today, when I checked online, my SA accounts said I could claim for a repayment - of the same amount as last week.
After calling the HMRC and getting passed from pillar to post several times, I finally got through to someone who said the repayment would be processed - in the next two weeks.
Does anyone know if I can claim interest on the money they will have been hanging on for three weeks, especially as their website said, on 1st February that the repyament would be processed?
Thanks very much

Interest (called 'repayment supplement') should be added to the amount repaid when it is sent to you.
The rate is 3.0% (http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/rates/interest-repayments.htm) and the supplement itself is not taxable.I am an Accountant.
