I can feel myself curling inwardly..........god, what did that awful woman do to me to make me feel like this - I'm just about ok to do a basic admin job - like the one I heard about first, but putting myself back in a public profile job........not sure......I vowed I wouldn't do anything related to PR again - and this isn't even purely PR.......It would be easy enough to write something and prepare the presentation, no problem with that at all, I really enjoy that. Giving it is something different.

    booger........

Not just her. Other things have sapped and are sapping your self-confidence.

More than OK, you'd be far too talented for it. It would be done very, very well.

It's all just confidence. Fake it. Fake confidence works as well as real confidence, it's just not as comfortable.

Keren, how about just prepare the presentation as a first step, you enjoy that bit. Once it's done, see how happy you are, go with the attitude that you don't care if you get the gig or not, in fact the more you can convince yourself you don't want it, all the better. and as Z said, fake it, it's worked for me for 20 years and I haven't been found out yet :)

So you'll remember next time not to run it empty...

Actually, that could apply to so many things...
