Loan from Barclays using online "digital signature" not handwritten one.

Just out of interest....

I have a Barclays loan that I got using the "approved offers" in my internet banking. I never signed anything other than "clicking here means you sign the credit agreement and a copy will be sent to you in the post".

Does the CCA has to be signed with my signature or is this "digital signature" valid? What would they supply if I asked for a CCA.

Yes it is valid.
There was a change in one of the last finance bills that went through parliament to allow it.

Where do you stand regarding PPI on credit cards as i've been told by MBNA that I gave "express consent given" over the phone. I don't recollect any phone call.

Ask them for a transcript of the phone call.

This by the way is nothing like what the OP asked about - totally seperate thing.

Did you go any further with this? I think i've just posted the exact same question
