Lloyds Pharmacy Carbon Monoxide alarm £12.99

I saw in my local Lloyds Pharmacy window that they have got Carbon Monoxide alarms for £12.99 each - half-price they reckon. I don't know about the quality, but it is a very keen price for this type of alarm. I didn't buy one as I bought a Fire Angel one for about £15 in Tesco sale last year - in my view these alarms are well worth having. We keep ours next to the bolier, though I'm not sure if you are supposed to have one in each room or what.

Lloyds Pharmacy have a web site but the alarm is not featured, though it does give the branches:

I have had other stuff from LLoyds, like the digital thermometer, and found them to be good quality and value.

edit: I found this site which raises awareness about carbon monoxide:

http://www.carbonmonoxidekills.com/placement.htm

It says that if you have only one alarm, to place it in the sleeping area so it will wake you if you are asleep.

Their stuff is usually pretty good quality. They can sell it so cheap because it's usually endorsed by a company who pay to put their name on it.

The body fat monitors are going down a storm at the moment and the tens machines are very well priced at £14.99.

    I should probably disclose here that I'm a Lloyd's employee. :D
