A person could be forgiven for getting confused...

            About whether now is the 'time to switch', I imagine.0

            Martin operates a "traffic light" system.
 Red = Dont switch
 Amber = Switch with caution
 Green = Switch!
 Cant see how that can be confusing.Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! 0 0

 And the giant traffic light in the middle of the article is what colour currently (on an article labelled "Time to switch" as opposed to "Don't switch")0

 I think maybe the confusion arose because it was felt that Martin was advising not to switch (red light) until all of the price rises had taken effect.
 It was surprising therefore to see a green traffic light when Scottish and Southern have not increased their prices yet.
 I want to move away from the dreaded Npower and I am leaning towards Atlantic (which comes out cheapest because of no price increase). So is now the best time to switch to them and then be hit by an unknown rise in March?0

            Hi folks
 Im actually away at the moment and asked my team to switch the light in my absence. I will be explaining in more detail why when I get back (monday) (though the explanation may already be good - i haven't read it yet!)
 In a nutshell though five of the big six have put prices up. The one left scottish and southern has said it won't alter prices until 30 March - when I think we can expect the price to jump.
 That's a long time to wait; so I think with 5/6 there its now "time to switch" however avoiding switching to scottish and southern and its sub-brands.
 Hope this makes sense
