Hi I think its up to 3 weeks in advance the website will have available dates on and usually shows 3 weeks. Your account isn't charged until the day the order is delivered. HTH

Hi. I am new to this so bear with me ! I am having a problem with Tesco online shopping. I have used them reguarly for some 12 months, but only a couple of weeks ago noticed that when I order online £2.00 is taken off the debit card I use as a "test". This amount is NOT deducted from the final shopping bill, but floats in "cyberspace" for up to 10 working days before it is returned to my account. Now, £2.00 may not seem worth moaning about, but on a very limited income where every penny counts, IT IS !! I spoke to Tesco.com and they said it was up to my Bank to put it back straight away. My Bank said "~NO, it is up to Tesco"!!! So, if I use Tesco regularly say every week, then each week £2.00 will be taken from my account !

Obviously giant Tesco is not liaising with the banks! I know for a fact that Asda only take £1.00 and then it is put back immediately. So what is up with Tesco ???

Also, I have been told by tesco, that the amounht is taken from your account for the shopping, when your personal shopper has finished and goes through the checkout. This happens on the day the shopping is delivered, NOT AT THE DOOR WHEN YOU CONFIRM YOU ACCEPT ALL THE ITEMS!!

Update to the £2.00 taken off your card. I have just done online shopping with Tesco.com and once again the £2.00 has been taken from my account. Tesco have confirmed that THERE IS NOTHING ABOUT THIS ON THEIR WEBSITE!!! ~Surely, this is tantamount to theft?? Taking money from your account without your knowledge or permission ??? And having to wait up to 10 working days for it to go back. Martin - DO SOMETHING !!!
