Thanks again CM
this is exactly what I wanted to know - 1st hand expeirience !
not regurgitated information that may or may not be true
anyone else got 1st hand experience ?0 -
nobody ?
or did my tone offend ? sorry if it did, its just that on a lot of forums , most people just repeat what they have read somewhere before - not knowing how true it is or not !

I think that many people (by the time they reach the DFW board) are past the point of being up to date with making payments to CC's, directly to the credit card company itself, which is possibly why there is little first hand experience to share.
However, if you want to know, generally, how you will fare if you let the CC's go to a DCA, you will get LOTS of response!"Stay Wonky":D

My first hand experience is 90% accepted the offers and stopped interest/charges. M&S were great one phone call and reduced payments for 6 months. Abbey are still sulking god knows what they are doing but I bet I'm not going to like it, Halifax like to give people a good kicking when they are down.Barclaycard 3800
