Hi brightonman,
Sometimes it takes a while for a new property to appear on the VOA website. I take it that yours is a new property? If you can't get the info online telephone your local VOA office and ask them.
I couldn't find mine either on the VOA website (its an older property) then I found out that they'd got my address wrong. I did tell them, and the VTS, but it still shows as wrong on their website! Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? now sorted- need not be too specific in search- leave off the road type
eg- if looking for 'any street', just put 'any' in the road field..Long time away from MSE, been dealing real life stuff..

If you have received a Council Tax bill then once you get on the VO site you can use the billing ref/property ref (not the acct ref) to search on the VO site.
We use this method a lot at work when we can't find properties on our system.I no longer work in Council Tax Recovery but instead work as a specialist Council Tax paralegal assisting landlords and Council Tax payers with council tax disputes and valuation tribunals. My views are my own reading of the law and you should always check with the local authority in question.0
