help with selling my car and clearing my debts!

Ok, just to be very clear, I am NOT advertising my car for sale on this forum. I am trying to get my family out of debt. We were doing quite nicely thank you until my son got meningitis and I had to give up work to look after him. 3 years later and things are levellling out both emotionally and financially. I found this site and have been busy overhauling our finances so that we can live within our means. We don't need sympathy (although its always nice to receive, don't get me wrong) - we need advice!
So, here goes. We have been lucky enough to get a motability car now that our son is 3. This leaves us with a VAuxhall MPV that we had to borrow to buy when he was first ill. A nice asset that in theory should pay off the loan we bought it with and leav us a little towards our other debts (yes we been living beyond our means for the last 3 years!). Trouble is, I need to sell this car to be get closer to being debt free, and surprise, surprise it isn't selling. It's been on Autotrader for 2 months and I've dropped the price, but not a sniff. I've checked out e-bay and they're not shifting from there either. My next move is to go round local car dealers, but I have a sneaky feeling I'll get a really crap price from them!
HAs anyone got any bright money saver ideas? Failing that, anyone need a very resonably priced MPV? (sorry!
)
pleeeeease!!!!
many thanks, Jo

What model and specification is it, how old is it, how many miles has it done and how much are you asking for it?"You were only supposed to blow the bl**dy doors off!!"0

E-Bay it, our car sold within days, if you put a best offer facility on it. Parkers price guide is where we looked for the value of the car.
