A place that I would never have thought to go...but just been looking at it and it looks GORGEOUS.
Won: 2 return tickets, Oman Air, Gatwick to Muscat, to be sed before December 2008.

MSE'rs...does anyone know specialist insurance for terminal cancer patients. I would love to go with my husband but he has terminal malignant melanoma. He is on chemo for a couple of months yet. He isn't 'infirm' or anything...just terminally ill.
and I would love to take him.......

 well done on the win. My husband was found to have cancer after we'd booked a holiday to USA. Our insurance would let us cancel but wouldn't cover. We searched for alternative cover and were quoted a medical excess of over £9000. We asked for advice at Velindre Hospital (Cancer hospital) in Cardiff when we were there and they gave us some numbers to phone. We ended up having to pay an excess of just over £800 - bit of a difference. Ask at your hospital as they may know of insurance companies or if not ask the cancer charities. Good luck, hope you find cover as it could give you both a brilliant break.
see others have given you places to look while I was typing in the message."Every day when I wake up I thank the Lord I'm Welsh" Cerys Matthews0 -
