Branded goods at cheap, cheap prices

I'm not sure if this has been posted before. But I just had to share as I was really impressed. Yesturday my sister (very thrifty lady) introduced me to a store called 'Home Bargains'. It sells a wide variety of branded and not so well known goods ranging from toiletries, toys, food, drinks. I think it is the kind of store were you take pot luck and see what bargains they have at that particular time. I'm not sure if they are nation wide but this one is in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. The reason we ended up there is because it is my little boys birthday at the weekend so we were hunting for treats. Just to illustrate my point:
We bought a selection of wooden Balamory houses (ask your toddlers) individually priced between £3.99 and £5.99 the exact same toys are on sale in toys R us between £8.99 and £14.99. A Huge difference that I am still smiling about.
Also picked up lots of crisps and snacks at less than half the price I would have paid at the local supermarket.

Theres been a few posts before about the bargains to be had in Home Bargains. Most of the branches are in the north. They have a high turnover of stock, so most of the time its a 'get it while you can'.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the logo appears to be the same as "QualitySave", are they linked?"And crawling on the planet's face,
Some insects called the human race,
Lost in time, and lost in space,
And meaning"0 -
Theres one in both Burton on trent (Staffs) & Coalville (Leics).
Excellent prices, but my most enjoyable bargain was some Caledonian IPA for 99p a pint :beer:0 -
yeah, same company as qualitysave, homebargains shops tend to be bigger with more household items as well as all the cheap tinned food/pop/crisps etc...0
