wanted - where can I buy typewriter ribbon

Hi have a child's typewriter - Petite 990 and need a new ribbon for it, anyone know where I can get one from? Thanks.

I'm not sure if you can still get replacement ribbons but if not, you can get Aerosol cans of ink that you spray onto the ribbon.Better to remove ribbon from reels and put it into a small container and spray a reasonable amount of ink into the container so it absorbs the new ink.If the width of the ribbon is standard ,then I guess you could buy any ribbon and put it onto your 'Petite' reels.0

This company in Bexhill-on-sea East Sussex supplied me with ribbons. They were very helpful, and they even repair old manual machines.
