need a bit of advice had another letter of another debt i do have a few and this time this company is saying i have 7 days to pay in full not going to happen as just over £500 or they are going to take me to court which will lead to people coming to my house to take things and there will be extra charges going on just over £100.
the thing is this may sound soft but i'm to scared to call them after the phone call i had with another debt the other so could i write a letter asking if i can pay abit back each month or will they not accept it.

They really are disgusting little sh1ts, aren't they...

Of course they can't do this. Even IF they go to court, and IF they can prove that you owe the money, and IF they can prove that they have a right to collect it, then all that will happen is a court will look at how much you can afford to pay and tell you to pay that much.

Nobody will come to your house, and nobody will take anything.

Don't call them on the phone. Ask them to send a copy of your credit agreement. There are template letters posted on this board - I'll look one up in a mo. Once you do that, the debt is technically in dispute until they reply. That means that they can't do anything until they have sent you the agreement.

In the meantime, you'll get all, sorts of good advice from here about how to deal with it in the best way.
