On my past experience of BOL, now would be about the right time to order for delivery in time for Christmas.... ...2006.

Of course it could just be that I was unlucky.......
Your really can not beat a good bargain !!!

Or not.... my last order was 'sent' and then 'resent' twice. By the time it failed to arrive for the 3rd time, I gave up.

I did get my money back though, eventually.

Can you mix and match - e.g one from biography and two from entertainment?

https://www.bol.com are not the speediest in terms of deliveries, but they are very cheap. Most new books are offered at 60% off retail price. They are now offering a limited time 3 for 2 offer on new books, you can mix and match as you like with any books that have the 3 for 2 symbol. It ends at 4.00pm on the 20th July. There are a couple of snags:

Postage and packing is £1.00 per book, unless you buy three or more.

The 'three for two' discounts the cheapest book.

The 'three for two' counts the three books you buy as only two, so you don't get free shipping (on the other hand, you only get charged £2.00,so if you bought three books at £3.99, you would only get charged £9.98 - if you bought four books at £3.99, you would only get charged £11.97).

You must commit to buy another book within the next six months - but they regularly have books at £2.79 (+£1.00 p&p) - including the new Lisa Jewell and Jenny Colgan books. There are NO OTHER COMMITTMENTS.

So, have a look! I got four books (two £2.79 and two £3.99) for £10.77. Bargain!
