I guess the obvious is a stew ?

You could mix the stock cubes, stewing steak, carrots, some potatoes (either fresh or tinned), mixed herb and sweetcorn.,

  • Chicken & Sweetcorn soup (mix the sweetcorn into a tin or 2 of chicken soup)

Keep the soup for another day and make your own soup the day after you've roasted your chicken using the carcus. I do this whenever we have roast chicken also try adding the ASDA smart price 8p noodles along with half a tin of sweetcorn and you'll have a really nice filling soup.

    good luck

Try this website when you're stuck with how to use up ingredients.

  • Oooh look peeps, we've got a tv star on our board!!! :D How are things I_A? Hope K had a nice birthday :) Some ideas.....

Spanish Omelette (eggs, tin of potatoes, onion if you have one) and beans/spaghetti

Curry made with one of the jars, left over meat from the roast served with rice and naan

    Shepherds Pie and beans

    Pie, mash and veg

Make a beef casserole with the stewing steak and sausage casserole mix, add a tin of tomatoes to bulk it up so some left to freeze, serve with mash and mixed veg

I once upon a time made a good soup using some beef burgers, a couple tins of toms and some veg and pasta and a bit of seasoning, I dont know that you could use all 50 but maybe 8-10 to feed about 6?
