What to do, you may or not remember i posted just before Xmas about the tefal one cup it was meant to be money saving and energy saving blah blah blah ends up it was a lot of **** and i have took it back to the store this week as the noise it made was horrendous sounded like it would blow up.
But now i have the problem with what kettle to buy.
When i took the tefal back to argos i had a look at there other Eco kettle but the only difference was that it had water lines on it to help you boil the correct amount so really as i do that anyway there was nothing eco friendly or money saving about it.
so now i have no idea what sort of kettle to buy I don't want to spend tons but want a nice kettle so any offers of advice or recommendations would be appreciated

It really depends on your taste. Maybe you should ask on the I wanna board if you have something specific in mind.

The most energy efficient types have a concealed elements so you can add only a cup of water. Also do not get one that keeps the water warm or that glows a thousand colours all the time.
The higher the wattage the faster the boil. Go for a 3000w. The higher wattage does not mean less efficient in this case as a lower wattage one would just take longer to boil. The overall energy used would even out.
Have a look at some of the user reviews on Amazon as some kettles spit hot water. Mine does this. You have to let it stand for a moment to calm the water down.0
