CCA Request: Need Expert to answer important questions before kicking off.

I have a number of cards which have large balances 10k+ and some smaller ones, due to difficult personal circumstances I ceased paying them all about 5 months ago ( I had been perfect before that). Thanks to the unnecessary harassment I've received and the threats, I now feel I am at war with them. I wish to request CCAs from all of them. My two cards with the biggest balances are MBNA and Barclaycard. I have had both cards for about 9 or 10 years. I have the following questions before I hit them all with CCA requests:

1. Should I wait till the original lenders pass the debt on to DCAs (as there is a greater chance the CCAs will be lost) or should I hit them now hoping to get them before they sell the debt on and perhaps prevent some defaults (it's really hard to know if they have recorded a default or are just threatening it).

2. Anyone know what the chances of BC and MBNA having the CCAs from 9 years ago are?

3. If I have two cards with the same provider and they only find a CCA for one of them, can they use it to enforce the account they don't have a CCA for?

4. Does anyone have any stories of requesting CCAs (esp from BC and MBNA)? How do they react?

Seems to have got lost this post will bump it up for you.

I have only requested CCA from catalogue debts that went a bit shirty but I know loads of people on here with better experience than me.
