Beauty Counter Job

HI guys,
I am looking for a job and I would really love to work on a beauty counter in Boots or any department store, does anyone know how i would apply for this? I do love anything to do with beauty products but the trouble is I dont have much experience. Does anyone work at a beauty counter who could give me advice as how i would apply for the job? Also do they give full training? and what is the salary like?
Any advice would be appreciated
