Nationwide Fixed rate

Hi

I applyed for a 3 year fixed mort last week at a rate of 4.69%, i see now that the rate has dropped to 4.59%. What rate will i get the new one or the old one.

Well if it was a fixed rate i would think it will be the rate at what you fixed it at! If that makes sense :eek:

Just re-read if you only applied it dont really matter if it higher, just re-apply for another

Unfortunatly I also sent them a cheque for £389 admin fee.

If they have reserved funds Nationwide will require another £389 to swap to lower rate ( so depending on mtg size might not be worth it )

Nationwide processing centres are not always quick off the mark, so if sent direct to them rather than branch , you might be able to stop it if you can trace it ( or they might just allocate new rate is processed after 12/7 anyway)
