Free shakespere theatre tickets - much ado about nothing

Much Ado About Nothing is an AS level English set text and the play's really good (seen it twice already), well worth going to if your a Londoner

    That is fantastic- thank you! My daughter and I saw the Globe touring production of Romeo and Juliet last year in Dulwich Park and it was great.

    PLAYING SHAKESPEARE WITH DEUTSCHE BANK
    Friday 14 March
    7 – 8.30pm
    Over 10,000 students will receive free tickets to eight performances of Much Ado About Nothing, Globe Education's second professional production created especially for young people at the Globe.
    Free web resources created especially for the project and supporting the study of Shakespeare at Key Stage 3 will be available to students across the UK. Students from 30 London schools will receive free workshops.
    The final performance on 14 March will be free to members of the general public thanks to the generosity of Deutsche Bank. Shakespeare's Globe would like to thank Kate Cavelle, Kerry Ortuzar and everyone at Deutsche Bank for supporting Globe Education's most ambitious project to date.
    Venue: Globe Theatre
    Tickets: Free but must be booked in advance at the Box Office from 11 February.

    OUR THEATRE: HAMLET

    Thursday 20 March
    1 – 2.30pm
    This year students from 16 primary, secondary and schools for pupils with SEN, will work with their teachers and Globe Education Practitioners to create an ensemble performance of Shakespeare's famous Hamlet for the Globe stage.
    The annual Our Theatre production is Globe Education's flagship community event. Since its inception in 1997 it has been generously supported by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
    Please join 1,000 others in the oak circle to celebrate the creativity and achievement of this year's company.
    Special thanks to David Adair, Richard Collyer-Keywood, Clare Gardner and everyone at PricewaterhouseCoopers for their support.

    Tickets: A limited number of free tickets are available, but must be booked in advance.

    2008 SAM WANAMAKER FESTIVAL

    Sunday 6 April
    4 – 6pm
    In association with the Conference of Drama Schools.
    40 students from 20 of the leading drama schools in the UK will present 20 scenes by Shakespeare and his contemporaries to a packed Globe Theatre. The afternoon will provide a festive mix of tragical, historical, pastoral and comical duologues and one of the Globe's most crowded jigs as a finale.
    Globe Education would like to thank Saul Hyman, Pat Trueman, Rob Young and Spotlight for their advice and support.
