I need lemon juice for my pancakes! I have lemons, but no squeezer. How to get the juice out?
Any clever ways?

Slam (ok maybe not slam but ykwim lol!) it down on the worktop and roll it a bit before you cut it, this helps to get more juice out

Or cut in quarters and stab in a fork then squeeze pointy ends together either side of the fork.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member no: 203.0

We sliced our lemon and just squeezed the slices over the pancake.0

We cut ours into 4, through the ends, rather than through the equator, IYSWIM. Hold the pointy ends and bring them together and squeeze.
It would be pancake day every day at Penguin Towers if we had our way!

Hi, Don't forget to pop the lemon into the microwave for a about 45 seconds or so, that gets you double the amount of juice out of the lemon. Then just cut and squeeze, If i remember rightly, you can use a cut lemon as well.20p savers club

Just slice it in half and squeeze the juice through a sieve. I have never owned a lemon squeezer.

We cheated tonight and it paid off - we bought Aunt Bessies Chilled Pancakes from ASDA - cheap - 8 in pack for £1 you could micro them for 1min or just flip in a pan for 30 secs each side, they were yummy and saved all the agro and fuss and mess of makin some. Will get some more tommorrow for freezer as they went down a treat. Mrs B enjoyed hers and DD and I kept flippin!!! LOLBetter to light a candle than to curse the darkness. :beer:0
