Got a refund

Just posted on credit card forum but thought I would put it here too.

10 days ago i sent the letters to credit card companies asking for refunds of charges. Today I got the first reply. They have offered half - £140 - which i will accept as the good will gesture they are saying it is.
As this is one of the cards I am wanting to clear and its only £500 balance this is a good start to getting rid.
so if you haven't asked get - use the templates on here and get asking!
proud to be dealing with my debts (at long last):j

  • I did the same last month. I went over my overdraft limit, as I hadnt budgeted for the overdrat interest. I spoke to the bank, and as I had never been over the limit before, and have been with the bank for over 15 years, they said they would refund the £28 charge. Happy days.
