Pension Advice - New Set-Up

hi there,

i am looking to start putting money into a pension fund at the age of 24 and would really appreciate some guidance. it will have to be a stand alone pension as i am currently part of a home-buyers scheme in my job and you cannot be part of both.

i would just like to know if there are any companies which are better than others and if there is anything i should be looking out for...tbh i'm baffled with it all right now!

any advice would be so useful or any pointers...
