Is that a drop from 4.79 to 4.29%? Either the Halifax know something about int rates which we don't, or they're struggling to maintain their share of the market.

I can't seem to find this Halifax deal any where. I have searched the mortgage sites to no avail. Is this true?

However, for those of you interested in similar deals, Skipton offers one at 4.29% fixed for 2 years. Then Nationwide BS offers something around 4.38% if I am not mistaken.

It's on Halifax for Intermediaries website and is being launched from Tomorrow (15th July) for up to 90% Loan To Value. There is a rather large Arrangement Fee of £599 that can be added to the loan of required.

You won't find it on the mortgage sites until it is launched tomorrow.

    Happy hunting!!!

It is a broker only deal - that said they do sometimes have branch only deals that are better !

  • Hi, I know it's got a large arrangement fee at £599 but for remortgages it comes with a free valuation & legals which starts to makes it very competitive for loans £86K+

I was under the impression that it had free valuation for Remortgages, but not Free Legals?

I will look now it has been launched.

  • Hi,

Standard legal work is included. You only need to pay extra if there is any additional work like transfer of equity etc...
