alliance leicester 5 year fixed 4.59

Options
hello everyone my 2 year fixed rate with the AL is finishing on the 31st august. And I'm thinking of taking out the 5 year fixed deal which is 4.59 with £395 charge ,(the main reason for staying put is the redemption admin fee being £295 plus all the other costs involved switching) would it be worth my while to wait little longer to see if they go down a little bit more or just go for it as it will take some time to process it through  many thanks to any replies leachy

Yes, I'd go for it. You would also pay other costs...legal work, a valuation fee and have to pay A&L £295 to leave.

You can't switch until 1 September so I wouldn't rush now ... fixed rates still seem to be on the way down.

That said, I would agree with the earlier posts ... the saved switching costs are likely to make A&L's offer a reasonable deal.
