I signed up for this a couple of years ago and never received anything. I contacted them a few months ago and they said that due to the credit crunch they had been struggling to fill the box but things had inproved and the boxes were being sent out again. I should have received mine a couple of weeks later then every 6 weeks after that. I'm still waiting and the site won't let me re-register.

What made you think you would get one every 6 weeks :eek:

I signed up from the OP and got my 1st box as promised and then they have always said that they will do 4 boxes a year, each one meeting different criteria so that one person doesnt get all the boxes.

I appreciate that they have not done a 2nd box yet after an awful lot of people being promised one but if/when it arrives it will only be sent out if you meet the criteria.

7) How often will I get a Matter box? Is Matter monthly?
No, and probably won't be. Eventually they'll be lots of different types of Matter boxes made for different kinds of people. Everyone will get a few boxes every year. We always want Matter to be special so don't want to send it to you too often.
8) When I join, will I get all the Matter boxes?
Eventually they'll be lots of different types of Matter boxes made for different kinds of people who'll each get a box a few times a year.
We'll ask you some questions about what you like and what you think. Then we'll send you the Matter boxes that are best suited to your interests/tastes and make sure you don't get any which aren't.
Matter boxes are made in limited numbers, so you won't be able to get Matter boxes which were released prior to you joining.

That having been said, it would be nice if we all got more than one matter box

Just signed up. The post Office did have something similar not so long ago when you register for your mail to get redirected. I received a box with a pack of 6
sprite, box of tea, cleaning product and some chocolate just to they welcome in your new home!! cool and well known brand....

Matter News

8 Sept 2010. There have been only two Matter boxes so far–the pilot edition and Matter 1, which went to the first 30,000 subscribers who joined before Sept 05, 2008. There haven’t been any boxes since.
We are working on the next edition, which will be a small version of Matter, going to some of our 18-24 year old subscribers. We anticipate this will be coming sometime mid-November.
