13 Issues Of Timeout For £1

I got a mailing from Timeout this morning where they are offering 13 issues of the magazine (3 months subscription) for £1. All you have to do is remember to cancel the Direct Debit before the 3 months is up.

Time Out offer

Great spot! But just a quick warning: remember you need to set up a Direct Direct to do this, and you'll start paying the normal subscription price (£22.50 for 12 issues) after the cheap offer ends. If you don't want to do that, do diarise the fact you should be cancelling it.

  • Genuine subscription offer - have tried it & it works!

Also tried, from page 118 of the latest (March 2008) OLIVE magazine, claim a Free copy of Good Homes Magazine by calling 0844 848 0095 and quote GHF0308 (offer ends 19th Feb 2008).

Once they've taken your details for your free copy, you'll be offered trial subscription to up to four magazines from a huge list they'll read out to you. Each trial will give you three months subscription for just £1. Olive magazine, for example is £3.20 per issue from the newsagent but with trial subscription you get three issues for £1, saving £8.60! And they're delivered to your door free.

As with Time Out, you need to give your bank details so they can set up a direct debit to collect the £1. You will get a letter confirming the DD instruction and the payment date so remember to ring your bank before the three months are up to cancel the DD or your subscription will continue at a higher rate (still lower than newsagent price but only a saving if you'd have bought the magazine every month anyway).
  • Do they still do the 2 4 1 voucher at Wagamamas like they used to? If so, its worth buying it just for that, I go to Wagamamas all the time!
