That was my first thought when I read the post. I pay £50 per month for three of us at our local club, which is hardly cheaper either.

Maybe not liable but not innocent.
They coerced someone, possibly a youngster to forge a sginature so they can obtain money. They're at the very least an accessory to fraud.

    Mark779.

The OP claims that the club owner "got my son to forge my signature".

Seems fairly clear cut that the club owner knew it wasn't a legitimate signature and is therefore an accessory.

    Very difficult or even impossible.
But whether they deny it or not they know they're guilty.

  • Before you go jumping the gun why dont you politely ring up and ask for an explanation.
The cost for 8 months seems reasonable and the registration fee,but why on earth are they telling your son to sign for an agreement taking £45 off you that is totally unreasonable and fraud.
Its got to be a misunderstand, nobody could run a club in this way.

If you find it to be true I would report them they must be under some sort of licensing agency to be running a club of this nature.
    It doesnt sound right.
Hope you get to the bottom of it and then your son can go about enjoying his lessons.
