I would really love to use this prize, but after looking on the website, I think it could work out expensive as I will have to get new carpet for my hallway & stairs:eek: as the stair carpet needs to be edged so it doesn't fray & also have it fitted & pay for 2 extra stair rods, in times gone by, I would have put it on the card:rolleyes: but I really can't now.
Also a bit difficult to sell on as well as custom made

Just an update, got a letter from Stairrods Uk about my win, so rang the chap who's name was on there & asked if it was possible to have a cash alternative he said no. ( It doesn't hurt to ask )
So looks like I'm having stair rods! Will need to buy 2 which will be about £30 & they will be ok with my current carpet as apparently it doesn't matter if it's a fully fitted carpet or a runner.
So not as expensive as 1st thought & I haven't done much to the house lately, so perhaps it'll be nice to have something new:D
