Where do I find this information? (N&P MEAF)

Can anybody tell me where to find (or even begin looking for) what the MEAF was on my original National & Provincial (before they were taken over by/merged with Abbey National) mortgage.

I have all the documents relating to Abbey and my current provider (Coventry BS) but nothing at all on N&P.

Would Abbey have this info. and if so would they give me it? Also, if I request copies of such info. do they have to provide it and should I expect to pay a fee?

Oh, so they do have details (I was worried they'd say they have nothing and or are unable to trace N&P accounts). I've managed to find some old standing order confirmations from my bank which give reference to both my N&P and superseeding Abbey account numbers so hopefully this will help.

Worth a try anyway and thanks for the info arch stanton!

I replied to you in the main MEAF thread, didn't realise you had your own thread til now, sorry! Anyway, the MEAF for N&P a/cs (all of them as far as I am aware) is £50.00.

I think the N&P account/ref numbers are 9 digits long and start with a 7.
